The Pope Francis Center’s Bridge Housing Campus is open!

Detroit, MI – After years of conceptualizing, planning and building, the Pope Francis Center’s Bridge Housing Campus has opened its doors! Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Ford CEO Jim Farley, and members of the city and state governments were among the many attendees at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Located in the Core City neighborhood in Detroit, this bridge housing campus provides hope and a multi-pronged approach to end homelessness in the city of Detroit. The new facility has 40 studio apartments, a medical/dental center, a chapel, a heated courtyard for those not acclimated to living indoors, classrooms, a basketball gym, and a barbershop. J.S.
